Ut Vivant Alii … So Others May Live
In Latin, “Ut Vivant Alii” simply means “So Others May Live”. It is a motto that many branches of service, fire departments, and rescue units live by. For us, we teach future generations of firefighters and EMTs so they can do just that. To have a love so great that they are willing to sacrifice everything in behalf of others.
How We Work
As a training consultant we have experience working with local fire departments, school districts, colleges, government, and international agencies. At IAEMT, we customize training, whether it is an individual course or implementation of a new program, we are able to help with your needs.
Our Team
International Academy of Emergency Medical Technology is a training institution geared towards providing premier Fire and EMS training. IAEMT was built with Firefighters, Paramedics, and EMTS with over 75 years of combined experience.
IAEMT History
Founded in 2006 while working with Kellogg Brown & Root as part of the Balkan Support Contract for Task Force Falcon under Operation Enduring Freedom, the U.S. Army requested EMT training for its personnel in Kosovo. While in Kosovo, the idea to train host country nationals as EMTs quickly developed. IAEMT was then created and since then has helped students from Bosnia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Serbia, and Trinidad & Tobago to become EMTs.
Upon return to the United States, IAEMT expanded its program for career and technical education departments for local school districts so that high school students could become certified as EMTs. Our program has recently in 2016 expanded to include basic structural firefighter for high school students. Simply, we want to educate individuals and give them a better career opportunity and make tomorrows heroes today.

At International Academy, our mission is to provide a safe and secure learning environment in which students gain the skills and experience to become successful emergency responders regardless of the emergency response role. We empower students to learn by providing a rigorous curriculum, promoting collaboration, and allowing students to be stakeholders in their own education. We pride ourselves on challenging students to perform to their utmost potential, and provide the learning environment to be able to do so.
